Santa Rosa will try out new reverse diagonal parking spots; that would require you to back into the spot. The idea being that when you pull out you are pulling out head first and will have a clear view of traffic.
So if you currently back in to a parallel spot, then all that practice will pay off here. Of course if you are one of those people that pulls in head first to parallel park, then here is more evidence that you are indeed wrong.
